Philly hip-hop collective Ground Up have been on their grind ever since their first mixtape dropped six years ago.  With a just-released trailer for their latest project 1711 showcasing the city they call home and a voice-over narrating the group’s journey, all fans can be left with is just chills and anticipation.

Its amazing how a black and white panning camera can go a long way. Recalling events that took place in the group’s upbringing like attending Temple and throwing raging parties, the video makes it clear Ground Up is a tight knit group that just keeps getting closer as the years go on.

This project is promised to be their most intuitive and developed one to date.  Taking the name of the apartment that gave them their start, the group is ready to feed the fans with great new music while letting them understand a little more about who exactly they are.  Check out the teaser for the project below.
