With the passing of B.B. King earlier today, WXPN’s Johnny Meister phoned in to the Morning Show to talk with host Michaela Majoun about the blues guitar great.

“He personified the blues,” Meister said. “He didn’t invent it, but he personified it. … It was the name that really represented the genre for many years.”

Meister, host of The Blues Show on WXPN, also shares his thoughts on King’s legacy, and shares why “Better Not Look Down” is his favorite of B.B.’s songs.
