On the heels of the announcement that Lyle Lovett and his Large Band will be headlining Saturday night, August 15th at the Philly Folk Festival, more bands have been added to the lineup.

The North Mississippi Allstars, Bruce Cockburn, The Lee Boys, Hoots & Hellmouth, Della Mae, Baskery, Kuf Knotz, Psych-A-Billy, and others have been added to the already announced lineup of Shakey Graves, Arlo Guthrie performing the 50th Anniversary of Alice’s Restaurant, Madisen Ward and the Mama Bear, Selwyn Birchwood, Parker Millsap, The HillBenders, Tom Paxton, Cassie & Maggie MacDonald, Steve Riley & The Mamou Playboys, Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams, and more.

There will be a Camper’s Only World Cafe showcase with David Dye featuring Tall Heights, Lindi Ortega, and Low Cut Connie on Thursday evening, August 13th. WXPN’s Helen Leicht will present a Saturday afternoon Philly Local Showcase featuring Andrea Nardello, John Beacher, and Kuf Knotz on August 15th. On Sunday August 16th, WXPN’s Zydeco Crossroads will present Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band. Go here for tickets and detailed information about the festival.
