XPN favorite Richard Thompson has a new album coming out. “Still” will be released June 23rd in the US & you can listen to the latest song.

Richard Thompson teamed-up with Jeff Tweedy to record “Still” at the Wilco studios in Chicago. The 2nd, new single called “All Buttoned Up” is out. Listen to it below. XPN has already been playing the 1st single “Beatnik Walking.” Richard Thompson Trio will playing The Keswick Theater in Glenside, PA in an WXPN Welcomes concert on June 18th, with special guest Joan Osborne.

The Doors will re-issue the two albums they produced after Jim Morrison’s death.

Following Jim Morrison’s death on July 3, 1971, the 3 remaining members of The Doors-(Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger & John Densmore) released 2 more Doors’ studio albums: “Other Voices” and “Full Circle.” The 7th & 8th studio albums produced without Jim Morrison will re reissued on both vinyl and CD on September 4th. The reissues feature rare bonus track “Treetrunk,” which saw its first release on the B-side to “Get Up and Dance,” off of Full Circle and remastered audio. The vinyl copy includes packaging with the original Full Circle vinyl and historically accurate sleeves.

Spanish pop star Enrique Iglesias is seeking treatment after a drone cut his hand during a Saturday concert. Iglesias continued the show with his hand blooded and bandaged. Pictures and video from the event show him smearing his blood on his T-shirt in the shape of a heart.

Enrique Iglesias said on his website:

The accident happened in front of some 12,000 people in Tijuana, Mexico, as part of Iglesias’ “Sex and Love” world tour. He suffered the cut when he grabbed the drone used during shows to get crowd shots. Iglesias is known to grab the drone and turn it on himself and the audience to give a “point of view shot,”
