Jack Devine is a local musician we’ve previously encountered as the lead singer of punk band Avenue Kings, but he’s also a fairly prolific solo artist. “I’ll Be Back For You” is his latest release, a folksy love song that toes the line of campfire spontaneity and Mumford & Sons sentiment. It’s a raw recording, coming across as though Devine wrote and recorded it while the feelings he conveys were still fresh.
