Local duo P.S. 118 celebrate the release of their Vol. 1 EP at Silk City tonight. Jansen Scott and Lucas Hough have been working on their EDM music for awhile, drawing influences from scenes in Chicago and the UK as well as Hough’s jazz background. We premiered their song “Function” last week, which you can listen to below. Get more information about tonight’s release show here.

Rosemary Fiki performs at the Dock Street Music Festival today. The local soul / R&B singer released her debut self-titled EP in 2012 and is working on her follow-up called The Great Unknown. Also on the bill for the free festival are Honey Radar and Pushin’ It 2 the Limit. More information can be found here. Listen to “It’s Official” by Rosemary Fiki below.

XPN welcomes Chris Kasper to Bourbon & Branch tonight, along with Small Houses. After playing a pair of shows in tribute to the Grateful Dead this spring, Kasper returns to performing his own roots-folk music this summer. 2013 saw the release of his most recent effort, the much-praised Bagabones. Listen to “Ancient-Lo” below and pick up tickets for tonight’s 21+ show here.
