Crash Course in Science pioneered the electronic music movement in many ways. Bandmates Dale Feliciello, Mallory Yago, and Michael Zodorozny created their own instruments and used them to play music that was at once post-punk and experimental. They gained a huge following in the late 70s but did not stay together after the early 80s. Luckily for us, the group has come back together in recent years to record new material, playing a Key Studio Session in the summer of 2012.

Nowadays, CCIS are finishing up an album and will be performing at Philly’s Everybody Hits on Friday, July 17th. The band will be joined by Master Class, Nomen Novum, and Total Discharge. More details via Facebook here. Below, check out the awesomely vintage music video for their 1981 single “Cardboard Lamb.”
