Telepathic has risen from the ashes of Philly rock band Bleeding Rainbow. The founding duo Rob Garcia and Sarah Everton, along with Paul Brinkley, released their first EP under the new banner this past March. Entitled The Powers of Ten, it’s six songs of sweet-tooth power pop. They’re definitely not afraid to get rub a little Philly grit into their music though, especially on “Nite Vision.” These 6 tracks will blaze by, so do yourself a favor and see them live. Tickets here.

We haven’t seen any updates from The Homophones in a while, but they’re coming out of hiding to perform at The Fire. Channeling twinkling guitars against deep, National-style vocals, the band is surrounded by a unique, sleepy sound. Check out “Sweater Weather” below, and get tix here.
