Get Ready: Janet Jackson’s world tour brings her to Philly in February

With the North American stretch of her worldwide Unbreakable tour beginning in just a few weeks, Janet Jackson has added a second leg of dates that includes a stop at the Wells Fargo Center on February 24th.

Clocking in at six months long, this tour marks the performer’s first major outing since her Up Close and Personal Tour, which brought the Indiana native to the Tower Theater in 2011. Jackson has established Unbreakable as a new chapter for her career, tweeting ” This year: new music, new world tour, a new movement” back in May. It supports her first album release since 2008 – the as-yet untitled record will be dropped through Jackson’s own label Rhythm Nation Records this fall.
