A new benefit fest is coming to PhilaMOCA next month, with proceeds supporting October’s March to End Rape Culture. The event will feature over a dozen bands, vinyl and clothing vendors, food and coffee carts, crafts, zines and more.

Presented by Square of Opposition Records, local activist group Pussy Division and Pittsburgh-based music blog Grey Estates, August 15th’s Treat Y’rself Fest will be an all-inclusive, one-stop shop of positive entertainment.

Local bands Mercury Girls, The Pretty Greens, Ghost Gum, Myrrias, Joshua Alvarez, Littler, and Kississippi will join out-of-town acts like Leggy (Ohio), Polio Club (Texas), Ancient Warfare (Kentucky) and more.

Joyce Hatton of People of Color Zine Project has curated a group of local zine writers. If crafts are your thing, get your nails done at the Permanent Wave Philly nail salon or make your own flower crown with Girl Army.

South Philly’s Sit & Spin Records and Delaware’s Rainbow Records will be on hand to help you get some great new vinyl.

Food-wise, you’ll be able to sip on some coffee from Cinemug and munch on some vegan and vegetarian snacks cooked up by Black Orchid Foods.

Full details and ticket information for the all-ages day fest are available on the Facebook event page here. Check out some of the bands and artists below.
