In the wake of their awesome “Leave a Trace” – the first taste we’ve gotten of the highly anticipated follow-up to The Bones Of What You Believe – Scottish synth-house juggernaut CHVRCHES will embark on a nationwide American tour beginning in late August. They stop in Philly on October 1st to headline the Electric Factory.

The group comprised of Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook and Martin Doherty placed 5th on BBC’s Sound of 2013 list of promising new talent, and have been expanding on their fandom with countless kickass records and appearances – so much that the BBC might even want to rethink that placing. Not only was their music featured in 2014’s Commonwealth Games, Scottish’s own Olympic style multi-sport event, but were also featured in EA Sports’ FIFA 16. Beyond crossing over from clubs to sports arenas, CHVRCHES supplied us with an amazing cover of “Cry Me a River” that made us question if it was even a Justin Timberlake song in the first place.

Their sophomore album Every Open Eye drops September 25th and the Philly show goes on sale this Friday. Tickets and more information can be found at the XPN Concert Calendar. Listen to “Leave a Trace” below.
