After teasing us with “Pieces,” “Place of No Tomorrow” and the title track, Philly’s Lithuania is streaming its new record Hardcore Friends via Brooklyn Vegan.

A collaboration between Dom Angelella of DRGN King and Eric Slick of Dr. Dog, Hardcore Friends allows both to strip down their sound to something that’s completely different from either of their other groups – a cross between raw punk and pop melodies. Produced by Hop Along and Dogs On Acid’s Joe Reinhart and Thin Lips’ Kyle Pulley, the album – due out August 14th via Lame-O Records – also features vocals from Rachel Browne of Field Mouse and Frances Quinlan of Hop Along. Lithuania’s Hardcore Friends can be heard in its entirety here, via Brooklyn Vegan.
