Jon Stewart hosted his last “Daily Show” last night, & closed-out with his own moment of personal zen…A live performance from “The Boss.”
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band played live in studio to close-out the final episode of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with John Stewart, ending Stewart’s 16-year-run as host. Per request by Stewart- The band played “Land of Hope and Dreams,” and then launched into “Born to Run.” As a final goodbye gesture, E-Street Band drummer Max Weinberg handed over his drumsticks to John Stewart after the performance as a souvenir of the evening.

Joe Jackson has traveled the world to record his new album “Fast Forward,” his first collection of original songs in seven years. It’s expected out on October 2nd. Originally conceived to be released as a series of EPs, the album features four sets of four songs recorded in four different cities ‘ New York, New Orleans, Berlin and Amsterdam.’ Joe Jackson’s last release, 2012’s ‘The Duke.’
