With the debut of his solo EP O’ My Foolish Heart just a week away, Levee Drivers frontman August John Lutz II has shared a track with fans via The Swollen Fox.

“Foolish Heart” has a classic country feel, with Lutz’s deep, gravely voice pulling you into his story of heartbreak. He tells The Swollen Fox:

“This EP is very personal to me and tells the story of 5 different relationships I’ve been in or come upon throughout the years, whether it be with past or present ladies, friends or family. The first single titled Foolish Heart is pretty straight forward with coming to terms with things in your life which you can control and things in your life that will always be out of your hands.”

Listen to “Foolish Heart” below and catch Lutz with friends in Song Dogs, New Sweden and Haint Blue at the EP release show on September 5th at Bourbon & Branch. More information can be found here.
