Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Israel Nash returns with a new album, Silver Season, this coming Friday, October 9th. The Dripping Springs, Texas musician has a vocal style and a love for guitar rock ala Neil Young, and Nash has come to the table with a set of nine powerful new songs on his album.

Nash’s new album Silver Season, represents an ambitious evolution in his mix of Americana, psychedelia and cosmic country-rock. If his last album, Rain Plans, was a refreshing spring shower, Silver Season unleashes a flood of expansive rock. Swirling guitars, minor chords, and anthemic, dreamy solos, melodies and harmonies are at the heart of Nash’s new album on songs like “L.A. Lately,” “Lavendula,” and “Strangers,” a few of the standouts from the new album.

At this summer’s XPoNential Music Festival, Nash and his band delivered a monstrous set. He returns to Philly and plays Underground Arts for an XPN Welcomes show on Wednesday, October 21st. For a complete list of tour dates go here.
