XPN favorite Jacob Snider is a singer-songwriter whose music is both rich and full while remaining uniquely intimate. Tonight Jacob will be at World Café Live in support of Brooklyn-based Jean Rohe beginning at 8 p.m. For more information on the show head over the XPN Concert Calendar.

Cleveland’s The Lighthouse and the Whaler play the kind of infectious indie rock that have them poised to be a breakout act in coming years. Their new album, Mont Royal came late in the summer and the band continues to tour in support with a show tonight at Johnny Brenda’s. You can click here for more information on tonight’s show.

Communion Philly serves as a one-stop shop for seeing the best in emerging artists. Tonight the showcase will feature local funk group Darla, punk four-piece Secret Someones and local electropop duo Mr. Sampson. The concert is part of a continuing series and will begin at 7 p.m. at Milkboy Philly. You can click here for more information on tonight’s show.
