Get lost with Purling Hiss on the new Meandering Noodle EP

You gotta hand it to Mike Polizze – he’s got a sense of humor about himself. When it came time to release a new EP of instrumental, expansive and largely improvised Purling Hiss recordings, he decided to call it Meandering Noodle: words we’re more used to hearing slag music rather than title it. It’s cool, though – Polizze takes ’em back before you can use them against him. 

The EP is a cassette-only self release, limited to 100 copies and is available for pre-order here. The track available from it is called “Crocodile Tears,” and it’s pretty easy to get lost in; a jazzy bassline floats along with a Kruatrock-y beat for seven minutes and change while Polizze jabs and wails on his guitar strings over top.
