Seattle’s Michael Benjamin Lerner, better known as Telekinesis, has for year existed at the crossroad between indie rock and full-fledged power pop. Throughout the band’s life they have gotten help from such indie rock powers as Death Cab For Cutie’s Chris Walla and Spoon drummer Jim Eno and have matured their sound which each new album. Sludge-metal band Kylesa will take over the stage tonight at Underground Arts, bringing their psychedelic-inspired heavy metal. Earlier this month the band released their seventh full-length studio album titled, Exhausting Fire.
