If Sun Club‘s live performance is anything like the chaos of their music videos, then their show tonight at Kung Fu Necktie will be tons of fun. The Baltimore five-piece wields their instruments to make happy and poppy, lo-fi tunes. Catch them tonight at Kung Fu Necktie; get tickets and show info at the XPN Concert Calendar. Watch their wacky music video for “Tropicoller Lease” after the jump.

San Francisco metal band, Deafheaven, will be rocking Union Transfer tonight. Following last month’s release of their fifth record – the five-song New Bermuda – Deafheaven has been touring the US relentlessly, which included a sold out show in New York earlier this week. After this tour and a short three-month break, the band will be hitting the road (technically tarmac) again to tour the UK and Europe. Don’t miss them tonight; get tickets and show info here. And listen to New Bermuda below.

Bossa jazz band Minas will be performing a collection of songs by celebrated bossa nova composer Antonio Carlos Jobim tonight at World Cafe Live.  The band already has extensive experience performing Jobim’s music; their most recent release, Symphony in Bossa, features orchestral arrangements of Jobim’s songs as well as originals by Minas. Read more about Minas’ history and the performance tonight here. Pick up tickets at the XPN Concert Calendar and listen to Symphony in Bossa below.
