Download a Zombies-esque pop song from Philly’s MANWOMANCHILD

MANWOMANCHILD is the project of Philadelphia’s David Child, a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter with a keen ear for pop hooks and retro-60s ambience. When we first met him last December, Child had just released the single “The Telepath Returns”, a bouncy track that recalled early Pink Floyd and Os Mutantes. This fall, he’s back with the jangling “Return To Ithica,” which carries hints of The Byrds and The Zombies, The Velvet Underground’s “Who Loves the Sun” and Belle and Sebastian’s “Seeing Other People.” Listen to the track and grab a download below.
