St. Louis indie rock five-piece Foxing recently released its second studio album, Dealer, and was featured this week as a World Cafe: Next artist. You can stream and download the segment below in this week’s podcast from NPR, which features two tracks from the album.
First is the calm and intricate “Night Channels,” a heart-wrenching tune that features a somber hook begging “future love, don’t fall apart.” The second song, “Weave,” was written as a response – or better yet a closure – to the five-piece’s debut record The Albatross. “Weave” creates beautiful imagery on top of layered atmospheric guitars.
Listen to Foxing on NPR below, and catch them at Union Transfer on December 4th. You can get tickets and show info via the XPN Concert Calendar.
