Named after a volcanic island off the coast of Alaska, Kiska released their debut self-titled record last month, and it’s a powerful explosion of rock energy. Released on Spartan Records, the album is available digitally as well as on vinyl. The Philadelphia four-piece are headlining Boot and Saddle tonight for their record release show. Get tickets and show info at the XPN Concert Calendar, and listen to the full length below.

Funk legend George Clinton returns to the Ardmore Music Hall tonight with P-Funk. This funkadelic show will be even better with the addition of Nik Greeley and the Operators, a local Philly musician who will be opening the show tonight. Check out the interview we did with Nik Greeley here, where he listed his top six essential funk albums. Get tickets and show info at the XPN Concert Calendar, and watch George Clinton’s video for his song “Atomic Dog” below.

Martin Sexton loves touring. It’s evident in his continual list of up-coming shows (through April!) across the United States. It’s also evident in his latest record’s title, “Mixtape of the Open Road.” The folk artist will be sharing his love of music and touring with us tonight at the Sellersville Theater with an opening act from Philadelphia native Jesse Ruben. Pick up tickets here, and listen to a preview of “I Believe in You” below.
