Brooklyn’s Big Thief, once the solo outlet for Adrianne Lenker and now a full-fledged band, are on the verge of finishing their first full length and poised to make a splash as they continue to develop their delicate yet powerful sound. Tonight you can catch them at Boot & Saddle as part of the Weathervane Music Residency alongside indie pop quartet Zuli. For more information on the show click here.

Philly-bred singer-songwriter Jacob Snider is an artist whose music blends jazz, pop and acoustic stylings to create intimate and intriguing musical landscapes. Catch him tonight at World Cafe Live playing in support of Brooklyn’s bluesy rockers Miss Tess & The Talkbacks. For tickets and details on tonight’s concert, click here.

Impressionist are a band that more than lives up to their name. They are very much a sum of their talented parts with vocalist Kyle Press bringing all the loose strands together to create something abstract, yet beautifully structured. Their unique sound will be on display tonight at Johnny Brenda’s when they open for Philly avant-rock trio Banned Books. Head to the XPN Concert Calendar for more information on the show.
