Hop Along has announced that the vinyl repressing of their 2012 full band debut Get Disowned will be out on March 4th via Saddle Creek (the same folks who released last year’s excellent Painted Shut). We first heard inklings of this reissue back in the summer, when fans were asked to vote on vinyl color (dark blue won) around the same time the local band played the XPoNential Music Festival. The announcement comes in tandem with some live dates on the road with Dr. Dog, including a March 17th show at The Fillmore.

The news also comes after frontwoman Frances Quinlan announced the vinyl pressing of her 2005 solo debut Freshman Year, recorded under the name Hop Along Queen Ansleis in the summer before her sophomore year of college. You can pick up that double LP here, while Get Disowned is available for preorder here.

Tickets and information for the all-ages show with Dr. Dog can be found here. Watch Hop Along perform “Tibetan Pop Stars” at the XPoNential Music Festival below.
