Harrowgrove is the project of alternative R&B artist C.J. Davis and was one of John Vettese’s Top 5 music discoveries of 2015. Originally a guitar-based band, Davis slowly transformed Harrowgrove into music with intense soundscapes and trap influences with his release last September, Holy Broken Free Spirit. Davis will be bringing the music of Harrowgrove to Bourbon and Branch tonight with Starwood, Kim Jong Ill, and Revolution, I Love You. The show is $10 at the door and is 21+. Information can be found here.

Disco-pop group Escort are on tour and have made their way from Brooklyn to Philly to play Underground Arts with Grimace Federation. The band, fronted by Adeline Michèle, is sure to bring classic grooves in a new-wave fashion. Tickets are $13 and the show is 21+. More information here.

Philly’s Shark Tape is playing at Boot and Saddle tonight. The rock & roll trio, made up of Stephen Lorek, Niles Weiss, Dylan Mulcahy, will surely be playing some killer tracks off of their recent release, Marathon, which you can hear below. Power pop faves The Figgs will be there as well. Tickets are $12 and the show is 21+. More information here.
