Local hip hop artist The Bul Bey performs at Kung Fu Necktie tonight. It’s been about a year since the West Philly native released his latest LP Shaking Hands and Kissing Babies, but we got another nugget of Amir Richardson’s talent on producer Rolled Gold’s debut effort earlier this week.  Check 2014’s “Where I’m From” below and pick up tickets for tonight’s 21+ show here.

Mother Moses play Bourbon & Branch tonight. The folk band is nearing the end of a week long tour in support of last year’s From the Ground EP, though they have even newer material to share, like the song they chose for their NPR Tiny Desk Contest video below. Tickets and information for the 21+ show can be found here.

Andrew Mars brings his Settled Arrows project to the stage for a live recording tonight. As we learned in an interview earlier this week, Mars always had two versions of his solo debut Public Privacy in his head: the studio version that was released last summer, and version recorded in a live setting with all of the atmosphere that includes. Listen to “Roads that Haven’t Been Finished Yet” below and get more information about the show here.
