Los Angeles outfit La Santa Cecilia will perform at World Cafe Live at the Queen in Wilmington on April 15th in support of their new record Buenaventura. With a Grammy for Best Latin Rock Album already under their belt, the former L.A. street performers continue a career rise that has landed them on stage with John Paul Jones, on TV with Conan O’Brien, and on the radio with David Dye.
They brought their dance-ready Latin fusion of bossa nova and cumbia to World Cafe for a Latin Roots session back in 2013 and performed at the inaugural Latin Roots live broadcast, which you can check out here. Buenaventura will be out February 26th; watch the video for “Calaverita” below and pick up tickets for the all-ages show at the XPN Concert Calendar.
