Littler share new song “Tectonics” from Of Wandering LP
With just a week to go before Of Wandering is released on Birdtapes, Littler have shared a sixth song from the debut LP via Stereogum. “Tectonics” is a chuggy burst of energy that questions how authentic a culture can be when things are always changing – once you feel like you understand how the world works, something (or someone) comes out of nowhere and completely shifts the trajectory.
Every line that Madeline Meyer sings is worth unpacking, but midway through we hear “the arrogance of inflexible minds is disappointing,” which seems particularly relevant to our current climate. Littler will celebrate the album’s release at Goldilocks Gallery on March 24th. Listen to “Tectonics” below.
