Stratospheric Pop: Listen to M83’s “Go!”

If there were any doubt following the colossal success of “Midnight City” that M83 was a Very Big Band, the teasers we’ve been hearing from the new LP Junk lay them to rest. The new “Go!” features a soaring hook from vocalist Mai Lan and an insane guitar solo that kicks in at around the 2:55 mark. It’s shamelessly gaudy, stratospheric pop that will play massively well when M83 appears at the Firefly Festival in Dover, DE this summer.
