Oregon sister trio Joseph play the Tin Angel tonight. Family heritage runs deep in the band’s indentity; they borrow the name Joseph from their Grandfather, as well as from a town in their native state where they spent time camping as kids. The group’s debut album will be out this year on ATO; get a taste of their jaw-dropping harmonies in the video for “Honest” below and pick up tickets for tonight’s show here.

Jazz / hip hop project Killiam Shakespeare opens for Taylor McFerrin at Johnny Brenda’s tonight. The project of Corey Bernhard and Steve McKie released its debut album at the end of 2015, but that barely scratches the surface of what Bernhard has accomplished in his musical career; the list of the West Philly resident’s co-conspirators includes Bilal, Talib Kweli, Snarky Puppy and Marsha Ambrosius. Listen to “Stars” featuring Ebony Joi below and pick up tickets for the 21+ show here.

Delta Spirit frontman Matthew Logan Vazquez performs at Boot & Saddle tonight. The Brooklyn-turned-Austin musician has stepped out solo with The Austin EP and a full-length called Solicitor Returns, recorded after the big move and the birth of a son. Watch “Everything I Do Is Out” below and pick up tickets for the 21+ show here.
