Rage Against The Machine have not played together since 2011 but they’re expected to make some kind of announcement on June 1st after launching an online countdown and advertising campaign.

A new website: Prophets Of Rage has launched, showing a countdown that will end on June 1st. It comes along with the hashtag #TakeThePowerBack, (referring to RATM’s song of the same name)

Last year, Rage Against The Machine bassist Tim Commerford indicated that the band may tour again. He told Rolling Stone:

“We are still a band, and we still might play again. We don’t have anything scheduled right now, but you never know what the future will bring.”

Public Enemy’s Chuck D has been sharing live concert clips of Rage Against the Machine on Twitter, leading to speculation that the two acts may tour together.
