West Philly singer-songwriter Kashish is prepping for the release of her sophomore effort With Love, set to drop digitally on May 27th. The EP follows last year’s The Hype with a collection of R&B tracks that have some serious vibes.

Lead single “Glass” is a moody, powerful song that sees Kashish come into her own, both lyrically and visually. While she fights against tangled cables that are trying to restrain her, Kashish sings about learning how to be an advocate for herself through independence and self-value. It’s kind of like a mission statement for the R&B singer, who deals with issues surrounding love, respect and heartbreak across the EP.

Leading up to the release of With Love, Kashish will host a listening party at Wahoo’s on Chestnut St. on May 23rd. More information can be found here. Check out “Glass” below.
