Philly singer, songwriter, and keyboardist Eliza Hardy Jones, has shared a new video of her performing “Couldn’t Leave You,” featuring Matt Musty of the Grace Potter’s band. Jones is currently a touring member of Grace’s band and is about to hit the summer festival circuit with Grace, as well as performing at the XPoNential Music Festival in July.

The gorgeous and haunting “Couldn’t Leave You” originally appeared on her Eliza’s 2015 release, Because Become. The video was created by Dark Sea Film, a photography and short documentary collective in Pensacola, Florida, where Jones shot the video.

About the video, Eliza told us:

I was passing through Pensacola on a Grace Potter tour last month and had the opportunity to record a song for Dark Sea Film. I wrangled Matt Musty (my fellow GP bandmate, who also played drums for me when I opened the Grace tour this winter) into singing some harmonies and learning a piano duet. We snuck up to the upper balcony of the Saenger Theater in the quiet before our soundcheck and recorded the song “Couldn’t Leave You” from my album Because Become. It’s a song I wrote about the winter I met my husband and what it feels like to be pulled into orbit after the chaos of floating with no gravity.
