One of Philly’s finest, Amos Lee, is back with a new song, “Vaporize.” The song was one of several new songs that he played at WXPN’s Non-Comm in May.

About the new song, Amos said in a press release:

“I wrote the verse and chorus of “Vaporize” one day. Then put it on the shelf for a while until I heard “Studio” by ScHoolboy Q, which made me want to find a way to do something with that flavor in a room with a drummer and bass player. Add to it live strings moods, and an incredible rhythm section, and you get the core of “Vaporize.”

“Vaporize” is a burning, sexy, soulful jam of a song that perfectly captures Lee’s blue-eyed soul. It’s the kind of song that Maxwell could really tear into. Listen to it below.
