XPN MusicNotes: Listen to new songs from The Stone Roses, Bat For Lashes and Lera Lynn

The Stone Roses performed their first live show in 3 years last night, where they of course played the first single off their new album: “All For One”- a song you probably first heard on XPN.

Watch some fan video below of The Stone Roses performing “All For One” live at The Victoria Theatre in Halifax, West Yorkshire.  It’s band’s first new music in over 20 years. A new album is expected July 1st.

Bat For Lashes (aka Natasha Khan) has a new concept album, “The Bride,” coming out on July 21st. The album tells the story of a woman whose fiancé is killed in a car crash, as he’s driving to their wedding. It’s Bat For Lashes’ first album in 6 years.

Watch and listen to “Joe’s Dream” below.

Lera Lynn is a singer-songwriter who was born in Houston, TX but grew up in Georgia.  She may best be known for her appearances on the 2nd season of HBO’s True Detective but she is really making a name for herself as songwriter and performer.
