Vancouver rockers Black Mountain bring their latest album IV to Union Transfer tonight. Released in April, IV includes “Mothers Of The Sun,” which you’ll find below. The vocals of both Stephen McBean and Amber Webber seamlessly blend for an eerie combo in a marathon of a song. Stick around for a while though and it becomes much more than their soothing voices — Black Mountain can really jam. Joining them tonight will be Ruby the Hatchet. For tickets and info, head over to the XPN Concert Calendar.

Boston indie act Ellen Siberian Tiger takes the stage at Bourbon and Branch tonight. The seven-piece outfit combines fingerpicking folk with distorted electric guitar and takes inspiration from acts such as St. Vincent and the Dodos. Also playing are Mother Moses and Michael J Vitale. Listen to Ellen Siberian Tiger’s most recent album I Can’t Help It below and find tickets to the 21+ show here.

XPN welcomes Philly fav Vacationer to play a free show in Haddon Heights, NJ as part of the Sundown Music Series at Haddon Lake Park. Also playing is Kevin Burke. If you can make it, this is a major steal to see for free. Vacationer’s 2014 album Relief is full of jams, including my favorite “In the Grass.” Watch the Audiotree version of that song below, and find more details for the free show here.
