XPN MusicNotes: Paul McCartney jams with Bob Weir, Belly plays live for the first time in 20 years, Radiohead needs video help

Paul McCartney performed live with The Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir last night in Boston. 

McCartney was performing at Fenway Park when he was joined by Bob Weir for “Hi Hi Hi” and “Helter Skelter” during the encore. New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski also made his way on stage. Watch below.

Tanya Donelly and Belly performed together for first time in 20 years over the weekend. The band, which broke up 1996,  played a set of warmup shows at the Parlor in Newport, RI last week, then last night in Glasgow played their 1st “official” reunion concert. Checkout some video below.

Radiohead is asking fans around the world to help with the making of the music video for their new song “Daydreaming.”  It’s part of the release of a number of so-called vignettes that have gone with the release of their ninth studio album, A Moon Shaped Pool.

On their Instagram, Radiohead has also released a one-minute-long string version of the album’s second single, ‘Daydreaming’, which will serve as the soundtrack for the winner of the fan-made video competition. Once all of the entries are in, Radiohead will pick the winner and post it to their official website. See more Info below.
