Local outfit Loose Tooth join their friends in Shelf Life, Blue Smiley and Poppies at Kung Fu Necktie tonight. The folks in LT caught our ears with last year’s excellent Easy Easy East, so it was exciting to hear what the four-piece had up their sleeves as a follow-up when they stopped by for a Key Studio Session earlier this summer. Check out a video of new number “Roach Motel” below and get more information for tonight’s 21+ show here.

XPN Fest alums Queen of Jeans return to the stage tonight for a show at Eris Temple Arts. A standout from their Marina Stage performance was “Moody,” a cut from the group’s debut self-titled EP. The swinging, slow-burning number was just captured again by Out of Town Films in an intimate video that sets the song against a backdrop of whitewashed brick and vibrant green plants. Check it out below and get more information for tonight’s all-ages show here.

Made In America returns to the Ben Franklin Parkway to kick off Labor Day Weekend today, beginning a two-day festival that features some of the year’s buzziest artists. Rihanna headlines night one on the Rocky Stage, while Jamie xx, A$AP Ferg, DJ Mustard, Gallant, Car Seat Headrest, Porches and more pick up mics on the four other stages surrounding Art Museum steps. Tickets are still available and can be found here; listen to Car Seat Headrest’s standout “Fill In The Blank” below.
