Philly favorites The Districts are shipping out to Lancaster, PA for a one-off at Tellus 360. The show is in support of Beyond the Mountains, an organization dedicated to raising money towards educational efforts in Nepal. A minimum donation of $25 will get you to the gig, which also feature music from Ton-Taun and a presentation from Beyond the Mountains. These guys consistently bring down the house, and you get to see them do it as you simultaneously support a great cause. What more could you ask for? Find more information here.

This Sunday, Amos Lee will grace the Academy of Music with his trademark blend of folk, blues and soul. He comes in support of this year’s excellent Spirit for what is sure to be an intimate evening from the parquet all the way up to the amphitheater. Bring a date and window shop for the song you’ll dance to at your wedding. Tickets and more information can be found here.

Legendary godfathers of ska The Skatalites are hitting Underground Arts this weekend with support from The Pandemics and RK$TDY. The band rose to prominence in Jamaica nearly five decades ago after backing artists like Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer and have since influenced artists from The Police to No Doubt. This is sure to be a pilgrimage of sorts for fans of the genre. Tickets and more information for the 21+ show can be found here.
