Julien Baker makes a return visit to Philadelphia for a show at Underground Arts tonight. The Memphis native brought her acclaimed Sprained Ankle debut to town earlier this year, wowing the audience with her gut wrenching but graceful songs about personal challenges and growth. Stream “Something” below and pick up tickets for the 21+ show with Grayling here.

Johnny Brenda’s 10th anniversary party continues tonight with a special performance from Philly psych pioneers Bardo Pond. The outfit joins friends Birds of Maya and Chris Forsyth and the Solar Motel Band to celebrate a decade of vibrant and diverse concerts at the Fishtown venue, a history that The Key’s John Vettese explored here. Tickets and information for the 21+ show can be found here; check out the sonic force of Bardo Pond below.

WXPN welcomes UK singer-songwriter Corinne Bailey Rae to Union Transfer for a headlining slot tonight. Rae is touring in support of The Heart Speaks in Whispers, a record that totally won over the crowd at her Free at Noon performance during this year’s Non-COMMvention.  Check out “Been To the Moon” from the new album below and pick up tickets here.
