For the second year in a row, hometown hero Strand of Oaks will close out twelve months of big moments with back to back shows at Boot & Saddle, dubbed the “Winter Classic.” Tim Showalter will perform two nights of “stripped way down” sets on December 2nd and 3rd, playing songs from his own catalog as well as some covers (and maybe even a few new tracks, if we’re extra lucky).

Showalter released his critically acclaimed breakthrough HEAL back in 2014, a record that landed him on the XPoNential Music Festival stage in addition to stages around the world. He’s toured with My Morning Jacket and The Tallest Man on Earth, and played festivals from coast to coast, but he still seems to enjoy coming home at the end of the year and recharging with his longtime Philadelphia fans.

Tickets for the 21+ shows go on sale this Friday, September 30th at 10:00 a.m. and will be available here. Check out the Instagram announcement video below, followed by “Goshen ’97” from 2014’s HEAL.
