This month marks the 25th anniversary of Nirvana’s groundbreaking Nevermind LP, a record that pushed grunge rock to forefront of American music culture in the 90s. On the latest episode of the Dan and Dan Music Podcast, WXPN host Dan Reed and The Inquirer‘s Dan DeLuca explore the album’s legacy with two people who were instrumental in the release of the album – former Geffen Records National Director of College and Metal Promotion John Rosenfelder and former Music Director at Boston’s WFNX Kurt St. Thomas.

But first it’s the two minute drill. The Dan’s discuss Bon Iver’s beef with Beyonce, Father John Misty’s dismissal of social media, record labels’ beef with Youtube ripping websites, T. Bone Burnett’s beef with streaming, and they remember the legendary Louisiana bandleader Buckwheat Zydeco who passed away earlier this week.
