Orchestral Icelandic outfit Sigur Ros are at the Academy of Music tonight. Led by Jónsi, the post-rockers will perform two sets, pulling from their expansive catalog that includes standout records ( ) and Takk…. along with 2013’s Kveikur. Hop Along join a stacked line-up at the Electric Factory tonight for the Project Pabst festival. The Philly band has been experiencing a ton of momentum after releasing Painted Shut in 2015, a record that led to an opening slot for Guided by Voices. That band joins Hop Along tonight, along with Animal Collective, Mac DeMarco and more. Tickets and information for the all-ages show can be found here; listen to “Waitress” below.

Birdie Busch presents her fifth Philly Opry at Johnny Brenda’s tonight. The local singer-songwriter has gathered together a group of musicians and bands, including The Brother Brothers and DJ Holly Sue, to celebrate the city’s vibrant music scene here.
