Philly-founded electropop duo Marian Hill returns home tonight for another headlining turn at Union Transfer. The band’s debut LP ACT ONE was released this summer, and it finds them expanding on the captivating combination of Samantha Gongol’s studied vocals, Jeremy Lloyd’s pop production and Steve Davit’s jazzed-up saxophone contributions. Watch them perform “Down” live below, and get tickets and more information on tonight’s show at the XPN Concert Calendar.

One of the two MCs in Philly rap duo Ground Up has gone solo, and tonight the smooth-voiced Alexander Charles headlines Bourbon and Branch. Listen to his latest single, “Silly Me,” below, and get tickets and more information on the show here.

Philly punk outfit Thin Lips channeled a turbulent emotional year into a cathartic batch of songs, and it became Riff Hard, the record the band released on Lame-O earlier this year. Tonight they play Kung Fu Necktie. Watch the “Never Again” video below and get tickets and more information on the show at the XPN Concert Calendar.
