1966 – The Yardbirds arrive in New York for their first U.S. tour.
1968 – Cream records one of the shows on their farewell tour at The Forum in LA and releases the songs on the Goodbye Cream album the following year.

1977 – In Greenville, South Carolina, Lynyrd Skynyrd play their last show before the plane crash that would kill three of their members. Nazareth is the opening act.
1979 – Prince releases his sophomore album, Prince.
1991 – Oasis plays The Boardwalk in their hometown of Manchester. It’s their first gig with Noel Gallagher.
