When we invited them in to record a Key Studio Session over the summer, local outfit Littler shared a few songs off of their then-just-released debut Of Wandering and one brand new track that had never been shared before. That song, called “Oversteeped,” is now making it’s official entrance this week by way of a beach-themed video. It’s also as a preview of more Littler material to come – the quartet will release their next EP, Bad Hand, next year.

“Oversteeped” is a cinematic clip filmed on 16mm film that follows the band’s guitarist Dan Colanduno as he drives down the shore and spends some on the sand. The song ebbs and flows between a gentle lapping of vocals and a surge of guitars as shots of partially de/constructed beach homes intercut Dan’s seaside excursion.

Watch “Oversteeped” below and listen back to their recent Key Studio Session here. Littler were also just featured on Stereogum’s 40 Best New Bands of 2016, along with fellow Philadelphians Abi Reimold, Kississippi, Japanese Breakfast, and Mannequin Pussy – check out that list here.
