The Yarga Productions folks are planning a protest festival in West Philly this weekend
Responding to the results of last night’s presidential election, the folks at Yarga Productions — the West Philly DIY promoters who bring us gigs like Human BBQ — announced their plans for an interdisciplinary protest festival this weekend. And they’re in search of artists to take part. From the Yarga crew:
Our goal is to bring artists from as many genres, backgrounds and mediums together in Solidarity against the racism, sexism, homophobia and general xenophobia that has taken hold. Please contact us if you are looking to get involved, either as an artist or in any other way.
