After much anticipation, Creepoid celebrate the release of their new Burner EP at Kung Fu Necktie tonight. The local grunge-psych outfit are following up last year’s Cemetery Highrise Slum LP with a collection that is notably more restrained than their more recent output. They shared EP cut “Dripping Eyelids” with Brooklyn Vegan earlier this week – check that out here, watch “Dried Out” from last year’s LP below, and pick up tickets for the 21+ release show here.

Peter Hook & The Light perform at The Trocadero tonight. A founding member of Joy Division and New Order, Hook leads the UK band through two sets of songs pulled from the catalogs of his former post punk / new wave projects, this time highlighting the respective Substance releases that compiled the groups’ singles. Watch them perform “Blue Monday” below and pick up tickets for the concert here.

Newly transplanted Philly musician Mother Moses performs at Milkboy tonight with Ellen Siberian Tiger. The Boston native is gearing up to release Traveling Glass next month, an LP whose contemplative “Gray and Wild” single we premiered earlier this week. Stream that track below and pick up tickets for the 21+ show here.
