At the beginning of the month, we got word that Pacific Northwest power trio Sleater-Kinney would release its first ever live-album, recorded at La Cigale on March 20th, 2015 while the band was on tour supporting No Cities to Love. Today, we got the first taste of that incendiary performance with a fierce take on “What’s Mine Is Yours,” originally heard on the band’s 2006 outing The Woods

Though the band has no tour dates planned, it will perform in D.C. this weekend at the after party of the Women’s March on Washington. Though tickets have officially sold out, the 9:30 club is auctioning off ten pair via Charitybuzz, with proceeds going to Planned Parenthood. Bids close tomorrow at noon, and bidding is up to $2,500 — wowzers.

Live in Paris is out January 27th via Sub Pop.
