Somehow between the release of their Ugly Cherries debut in 2015 and near-constant touring in the months since, glammy punk duo PWR BTTM found time to write and record a sophomore LP. That record was announced today: it’s called Pageant and is set for a May 12th release via Polyvinyl. Accompanying the announcement are a solid three and a half months of tour dates, including June 17th at Union Transfer, and a video for album single “Big Beautiful Day.”

In the new self-love anthem clip, Liv Bruce and Ben Hopkins take us through what is probably usual day for them and dream day for us. Emoji-laden texts from Mom, piles of Eggo Waffles for breakfast, and the most bedazzled, candy-filled basement party imaginable are some excellent, feel-good ways to leave the haters and naysayers in the dust.

Tickets for the all-ages June 17th show go on sale Friday, February 17th and will be available via the XPN Concert Calendar. They also visit PhilaMOCA for a sold-out show that night.
